Privacy Policy

Account details (name, email, phone), profile information, location coordinates when you enable location, chat messages, photos, seriousness questionnaire responses, device identifiers for safety enforcement, and push notification tokens.

We use Google Gemini, through our own servers, to moderate chat messages and images, review marriage-intent questionnaire responses, and compare a selfie to your profile photo (“Photo matched”). AI may flag content for review but does not replace human moderation of safety reports. Your seriousness score is never shown to other members.

If you grant location permission, we store approximate coordinates (rounded to about 1 km) to sort introductions by distance. You control whether others see your distance with the Show Distance setting.

Other members see your profile (such as name, age, photos, intent and preferences). Your email address, phone number and other contact details are kept private and are never shown to other members.

Push notifications use Firebase Cloud Messaging. Optional email notifications (matches, messages, report updates) are sent only when you enable Email Notifications and have an email on your account.

Reports are reviewed by our moderation team. Filing a report may temporarily pause chat between you and the reported member while it is reviewed. We notify you when your report's status changes.

Anonymous usage counts help us improve OneForLife. We count actions such as opening a screen or sending a message, plus crash reports and app speed, without names, contact details, message content, photos, free-text answers or your seriousness score. You can turn off “Share usage analytics” in Settings → Privacy & data at any time.

We use Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics, Performance Monitoring), Google Gemini, and an email delivery provider. These process data on our behalf.

You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete Account) or by following the steps on our account deletion page. Deletion removes your profile data and photos and disables your login. Some safety records (for example, bans for serious violations) may be retained where required to keep members safe or by law.

OneForLife is only for adults aged 18 and over.
